Security Maturity Consulting & Assessment

Appraise & envision your cybersecurity transformation journey

Most Enterprises lack clarity on their current security posture & how to secure next-gen technology adoptions & constantly look to redefine their security posture with growing threat landscape. For most enterprises, security is a bolted-on solution rather than being a built-in solution in their digital transformation journey, in that the security strategy is reactive with solutions being implemented post any incidents/threats. This reactive approach fails to provide a seamless integration of the overall business & technology strategy with security maturity.

Microland’s Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment is an exercise conducted to assess and understand the business, current digital estate of the customer along with security controls, processes and technology implemented in the customer environment to ensure protection against cyber threats and incidents both from external and internal threat actors.

Through CyberMaturity Assessment, security strategy, policies, processes, and technology are assessed & benchmarked against frameworks, industry standards and best practices,  security gaps are identified, and apt recommendations are provided for technology and/or operational security transformation. The recommendations are based on the industry vertical & geo the customer operates in, compliance & regulatory requirements.

Microland’s Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment is based on NIST’s Cybersecurity framework & Capability Maturity Model (CMM). The Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment provides a security maturity scores for five domains of customer’s organization: Business, Technology, Services, Process & People and five security capabilities: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond Recover. These scores not only provide visibility into the overall security maturity but also granular visibility into the each of the five customer domains and capabilities.

Based on the customer’s security posture and aspired security maturity, Microland can support in planning the security transformation roadmap. This assessment enables the Senior Management & SOC team to make informed decisions regarding their security strategy and roadmap.
